- PhD project entitled “Generative AI approaches for synthetic phage genome engineer”, as part of the university’s Faculty of Science and Engineering Bicentenary PhD programme. Applications accepted all year round until the position is filled.

- PhD project entitled “Revolutionizing Synthetic Biology with AI-Enhanced Manufacturing Workflows”, as part of the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Decision Making for Complex Systems. Deadline is 31 March 2024.
- PhD project entitled “Engineering non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) in eukaryotic genomes using synthetic genomic approaches”, joint with Dr. Chew Wei Leong of A*STAR (Singapore). Deadline is 20 March 2024.
- Four postdoctoral research associate positions on synthetic genomics projects, such as the international Genome Project-Write and/or the International Synthetic Yeast Genome Project. Deadline is 1 March 2024.
- PhD project entitled “Engineering a modular and minimal synthetic genome”, joint with Prof. Raymond O’Keefe of the University of Manchester. Deadline is 19 January 2024.
